General Rules

Consent Is Key Do not modify builds or use items from other players without their permission via voice, text, or a sign they placed. If no explicit or obvious permission is given, assume you can't use/take/modify it. Every action you do is logged, and we will find out. No Hacking Using any form of software/tool to give you an unfair advantage in the game. Examples include XRay, fly hacks, etc. We DO allow quality of life and lighting mods like FullBright, shaders, mini maps that don't reveal player locations, Litematica, performance mods, and auto clicker/holders that have NO AUTO AIMING, just the key press. No Exploits Do not use exploits to gain an advantage in the game. If you discover an exploit, please report it in our discord. We do not allow duplication exploits especially EXCEPT for sand/gravel exploits using pistons (because I'd rather that than dug up beaches/deserts) Be Considerate With Your Builds Please do not build above other players (land) builds without their permission. If you want to build floating structures it must be over where no one has built yet and can’t be too wide to where now no one can build below you comfortably. One exception being bridges going over builds, but again be considerate, make sure the supports don’t impact their build. Keep real life at the door Please refrain from discussion/builds relating to negative current events, wars, politics, and religion. We want Modern Beta to be a place where you can escape from real life and have fun all together here. Just play block game and mostly discuss block game TLDR: No stealing, no griefing, no hacking, no duplication (except sand/gravel), and just be a nice human playing block game. All other rules in General Rules apply here too <3

Use Common Sense Think before you act. You should know what is right from wrong in the context of a public discord with rules like ours. Listen to staff and peers when told to stop. No Spamming Do not repeatedly send the same or similar chats. Using Direct/Indirect Threats Threatening other discord users including but not limited to DDoS, Dox, Death and anything that we deem malicious. Inappropriate Content/Links Any content or links that are deemed inappropriate are disallowed. Keep real life at the door. Please refrain from discussion relating to real/specific divisive current events, wars, politics, religions, and drugs. We want Modern Beta to be a place where you can escape from real life and have fun all together here. This is a place to discuss mostly discuss block game (and sometimes other games). Support/Ticket Trolling If you intentionally mess around or waste the time of our staff members, you will be punished. Inappropriate Language Swearing is allowed, however, no non-contextual(Random) or overuse of inappropriate language, directed towards someone or not. Any racial or any other hateful language is NOT allowed. No Drama Do not start any squabbles or drama in this discord, if you have an issue with someone then ⁠create-ticket Advertising Within this discord you may only Advertise your videos and live streams that involve Modern Beta in⁠self-promo, anything else will be considered a breach of the rule and you will be punished. Do not repeatedly post allowed advertisements either. Harassment of Users/Players Harassing users or players using our services is not allowed, this includes asking very personal questions. Poaching Other Users/Players Trying to take players/users from our services is not allowed, an example of this is using the ModernBeta discord to Private Message other members links to your platforms. Discord links sent in the discord are automatically removed and will kick you if spammed. No Phishing Even if its a joke, do not send messages to trick another user into providing sensitive information. You don't know who is on the other end and if they will know you're joking or not.
